gig stories

well it happened again yesterday.  a guy asked me if i knew any "bob marley" songs...i happened to be playing "I shot the sheriff" at that exact moment.  I wanted to ask HIM.. if HE knew any bob marley songs.  Also why is it that patrons always want you to explain the life history of the steel drum while you are playing the hardest song in the book?  right?  It just makes me say "hmmmmm"

Here is the address if someone wants a tuning in Europe or a new Pan Made in Germany.

seeking backtracks and sheet music

I play double tenor and am looking to buy quality backtracks with corresponding sheet music to add  to my repertoire. I'm a strict reader and weak with improv.  Brad Shores has been a Big help and I have all 9 of his books.  Any other suggestions for expanding my repertoire?  Thanks!
