Hi I'm New here...Had an old Ellie Manette Pan about a year or so ago but sold it cause it was to limited in the note range...only about 1 1/2 octaves. Just bought a pair of double tenors yesterday...Very Excited! Dale
hi dale! welcome to panland and thanks for posting. Great to have you here! I play a couple of leads but my favorite is my Ellie C lead. I have some gill pans (2nds, guitars, basses) that i use for my school steel drum band also. Hopefully you can find some downloads that are useful to you and feel free to post your own

Up for auction is a Pan KAT Midi Steel Drum that I used to play reggae tunes. I have had the Pan KAT for 10 + years but really only used it for about a year to play solo steel drum and some Jimmy Buffett tunes for friends (I am a guitar player). So there are lots of books and videos on how to play pan - all the ones I've seen are for beginners. Anybody know of Advanced technique books? I see LiamTteague does a beginner book- I would love for him to do one for more advanced players.
